A set of eight photo collage panels made to visually depict the process of conversation. For this project, I interviewed eight students of color and asked them about their experiences with racism in the United States. Each panel has quotes from each interviews handwritten by the respective student.
This project was inspired by thinking of ways to ease the discomfort that prevents allies from having important conversations with people of color. By showcasing conversations that some might otherwise never have, allies can see the vulnerability of others and perhaps find a willingness to be vulnerable and introspective themselves.
